Our Practice

A pain management center built around one specialist

Our practice is inside the NeuroSpine & Pain Center at Mercy Hospital in Coconut Grove, minutes from Brickell, Coral Gables and downtown Miami. New patients have a full consultation with Dr. Alexandre himself, not a rushed appointment with a rotating provider. His nurse practitioner and clinical team support ongoing care.

Most pain centers hand you between providers. Here, the doctor who evaluates you is the doctor who performs your procedure and follows your recovery. Dr. Alexandre is triple board-certified in Neurology, Pain Medicine and Headache Medicine, with a PhD in Stem Cell Neurobiology, so he can look at a pain problem from the nerve, the joint and the tissue at the same time.

Office staff was quick and efficient… I actually got in early. Dr Alexandre came right in. My wife and I have been in the medical field for 80 years total. We were very impressed with Dr. Alexandre. His bedside manner and diagnostic process was spot on. I received several injections into my upper back to help get a handle on the pain. Very grateful to have Dr Alexandre as my doctor I have now followed him to two different practices. I was so sad when I lost touch when I first met him and they didn’t tell his patients where he had gone. So in total 3 places, that is how great he is. Dr. Alexandre is the best doctor anyone in pain can see! He is a doctor that truly cares about making a difference with your pain, which in the world today finding a doctor who cares is rare. He also has a fantastic nurse practitioner, Angelica, who is just as amazing!! Additionally his practice has an office staff who is kind, positive, and always busy taking care of patients within the office. If you feel you are running out of options with your area of pain give Dr. Alexandre a try because I promise it won’t disappoint. He treats just about everything and will work continuously with you to create a plan that will you give you relief. Every time I go into the office I walk in with a smile and leave with a bigger one. Today I went to Dr. Lucien Alexandre's office for the first time. I found the staff to be courteous and efficient. After only a ten minute wait, my husband and I were brought to an examining room to meet the doctor. Then, he came right in to greet us with a smile on his face.
The appointment ran for a full hour, during which he reviewed my medical history and intently listened to what I had to say. Finally, he proceeded to examine me and to fully explain every aspect of mi medical condition. At no time during the visit did Dr. Alexandre seem to be in a hurry.
I found Dr. Alexandre to be a pleasure to deal with. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and his education is top notch. He is also warm, friendly, compassionate and caring. His demeanor is such that I felt like I was speaking to a old friend. I consider myself lucky to be in his care.
